Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to be based in Dubai, UAE. This role will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The successful candidate will support preventive and predictive maintenance activities while working closely with the maintenance and production teams to maximize equipment uptime and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in heavy industrial machinery to ensure minimal production downtime.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, control panels, switchgear, and associated systems.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to support maintenance activities.

• Inspect, test, and replace electrical components, wiring, relays, circuit breakers, sensors, and other electrical devices as required.

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Hands-on experience maintaining rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, dryers, and other industrial mechanical equipment.

• Experience performing alignment and leveling of rotating equipment using precision measuring tools.

• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

• Experience managing or monitoring mechanical spare parts inventory is preferred.

• Experience working in the food processing industry with a good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and GMP is highly preferred.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE.

For this position, the client's budget is between IDR 12.000.000 – 16.000.000 per month.
