Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. Good English and communication skills are essential for this role. Prior experience as an auditor is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments) into the accounting system - Journal entries bookkeeping

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes

• Issue invoice to customers

• Reconcile bank and petty cash transactions regularly

• Monitor daily cash balances and bank positions

• Prepare and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements

• Support payment scheduling and forecast short-term cash needs

• Support monthly closing procedures

• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries

• Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents

• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding outstanding payments if needed

• Support auditors during internal or external audits

• Perform other administrative tasks as required by the finance team

• Liaise with external parties such as tax consultants, banks, and auditors when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in construction would be a plus.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.

For this position, the client’s budget is between 8.500.000 - 10.000.000 / month
