Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Supervisor to join our finance leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a strong background in financial management, planning, reporting, and compliance.
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee financial operations, support senior management with financial decision-making, and ensure the company’s financial health and integrity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and Ensure all Bookeeping is done every day, week, month, quarter, year.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), and consistency with international financial standards.
Oversee international payment processes with suppliers/vendors.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the company maintains sufficient funds for operations and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate and oversee tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding profitability, cost management, capital expenditure, and other financial matters to support business growth and profitability.
Lead the annual audit process (if applicable), working closely with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of any audit findings.
Collaborate with operations to ensure proper inventory valuation and costing.
Review inventory reconciliations and help implement controls around inventory management.
Establish and monitor financial controls and policies to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Lead, mentor, and manage the finance staff, promoting professional development and fostering a high-performance culture.
Evaluate and implement improvements in accounting systems, processes, and reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the development and execution of the company’s long-term financial strategy, supporting overall business goals.
Qualifications:
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
Prior exposure to the retail and manufacturing industries is an advantage. Understanding of cost accounting for manufacturing operations is also an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and tax regulations, with the ability to navigate complex financial environments.
Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making in a corporate setting.
Advanced proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems and/or accounting systems (Xero is a must, Shopify and Cin7 preferred), and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
Professional level in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in managing audits, tax compliance, and developing financial strategies for growth.
