Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager (Manufacture Industry)

About the customer:

Our client is a quality-control and supplier-audit company in the furniture manufacturing industry in Jepara Indonesia. They work with furniture factories across Indonesia to inspect product quality, monitor production, assess supplier capabilities, and support smooth delivery for international buyers.

Job Summary:

As the PPIC Manager, you will oversee production planning, inventory control, and material availability to ensure projects and operational targets are delivered efficiently and on schedule. You will work closely with the warehouse, quality-control, operations, purchasing, and management teams to maintain accurate stock data, monitor production progress, and resolve planning or supply-related issues.

This role requires a highly organized professional with strong Excel skills, logical thinking, and a strong character. The ideal candidate has experience in furniture manufacturing, general goods manufacturing, or construction materials. Experience with Odoo is an advantage, but not mandatory, as the system can be learned.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production plans based on project requirements, production capacity, material availability, and delivery schedules.

• Monitor daily production progress and ensure operational targets and deadlines are achieved.

• Control inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and warehouse stock to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, quality-control, and operational teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and products.

• Analyze production, inventory, and demand data to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Prepare regular PPIC reports, including production plans, stock movements, material requirements, and delivery performance.

• Identify potential production delays, stock shortages, capacity constraints, and operational risks, then propose effective solutions.

• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting through Microsoft Excel and the company’s ERP system.

• Support the implementation and improvement of PPIC processes and systems, including Odoo.

• Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain smooth production and delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in PPIC, production planning, inventory control, supply chain, warehouse operations, or related roles.

• Proven experience in furniture manufacturing, goods manufacturing, or construction-materials industries.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, formulas, logical functions, data analysis, and reporting.

• Strong analytical ability, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong character, high level of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple departments, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Ability to read technical or engineering drawings is a strong advantage.

• Experience using Odoo or another ERP system is an advantage; willingness to learn Odoo is essential.

• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.

For this position, the client’s budget is between IDR 10.000.000 – 15.000.000 /month
