Job Summary:

We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for geotechnical and ground improvement projects. You will work closely with the Technical, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to review tender requirements, prepare cost estimates, coordinate supporting documents, and ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.

Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, client requirements, technical specifications, and contractual documents to identify key requirements and clarification points.

• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for geotechnical and ground improvement projects.

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, preliminary budgets, price estimates, and cost calculations using company templates and historical data.

• Support the preparation of scope of work, technical assumptions, construction methodology, exclusions, qualifications, pricing schedules, and other proposal documents.

• Coordinate with Technical, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Management teams to collect information required for bids.

• Assist in obtaining quotations and technical information from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

• Prepare and maintain prequalification documents, company profiles, project references, equipment lists, and other supporting documents.

• Track bid schedules, submission requirements, and deadlines to ensure proposals are completed on time.

• Support tender clarifications, client presentations, post-submission responses, and negotiation materials.

• Participate in client meetings, tender briefings, and site visits when required.

• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, proposal status, and submission results.

• Support the handover process to the Operations team after a successful contract award.

• Participate in post-bid reviews and contribute to improving proposal templates, cost databases, and bidding processes.

• Develop knowledge of the company’s ground improvement solutions through project exposure, training, and collaboration with experienced engineers.

• Perform other bid, proposal, and technical support activities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, tendering, estimation, or proposal preparation.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered.

• Basic understanding of construction or engineering projects and technical documentation.

• Comfortable working with numbers, cost calculations, and quantity take-offs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Fluent in English & Bahasa Indonesia

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work in an office-based environment and attend site visits when required.

For this position, the client’s budget is between 7.000.000 - 9.000.000 /month
